'On guard' for machine protection.

02 June 2015

EFAFLEX has worked with of one of its largest customers, a major German luxury car manufacturer, to launch its ‘safe machine protection door.’

The MS range is suitable for specialist applications including welding booths, paint shops, machine production lines and can be used to create a movable separating safety guard. The range complies with performance level ‘d’ tested by IFA, an institute specialising in the certification of machine guards.

Available in either spiral or roll- up high-speed door options, the MS is capable of  7 cycles per minute, up to 250,000 cycles per year and has a life cycle of 12 years.

The spiral option uses the company's patented design and optional transparent vision laths and floor supports to create a self-supporting stand alone installation.

The slim line roll- up version is made from hard wearing fabrics in a range of colour finishes, with optional flame resistant fabric and UV protective windows suitable for welding applications.

With adjustable screws to compensate for uneven floors and optional safety equipment including the EFAFLEX External Light Grid the MS range creates a safe, machine protection door.
