Drum handling

Available from St Clare Engineering, the pedestrian drum handlers can be tailor made, fitted with removable and interchangeable ‘Quick Release’ attachments such as drum grabs, forks, lifting jibs, drum rotators and reel handlers, enabling the base unit to be used in a variety of areas.

The drum handler attachment on the ‘V’ type can remove drums from the corner of pallets, the straddle version can straddle the pallets or bunds to lift and move the drums, and the drum rotation attachment is used to dispense the contents of the drum in a controlled manner. The drum handlers are suitable for all types of steel drums, plastic ‘L’ ring drums and most fibre drums. 

With various lift heights available and options of manual or battery powered units the variations are many. Bespoke units suitable for use in ATEX spark proof environments can be manufactured to suit customer specification.
