Compressed air micro-coupling

01 September 2015

The latest micro coupling from Stäubli provides a secure, easy to use, compact connection for the smallest compressed air circuits.

With a bore diameter of just 2.3mm, a socket length of 17.2mm and a plug of 22mm, Stӓubli’s MCR micro coupling provides safe and secure connections on the smallest of compressed air circuits. The no-lock design enables one-handed connection and disconnection by simply pressing or pulling on the flexible hose.

Construction of the connector ensures perfect leak free tightness by using an O-ring seal. An adjustment screw located on the coupling enables the tightening of the plug to be checked using a screwdriver.

This is the smallest coupling in Stӓubli’s compressed air range and is ideal for use in the most confined areas such as on pneumatic control circuits, small vacuum or inert gas systems and medical equipment.

Stäubli have an extensive range of innovative connectors for compressed air, including active safety couplings that eliminate the risk of hose whip and all connectors carry a 5 year warranty. Frequently, compressed air requirements are only considered at a late stage in many development projects; earlier consideration of requirements can result in a safer, cost effective and leak free system that performs reliably and requires only the minimum of maintenance.

Stäubli is an international family owned group founded over 100 years ago in Switzerland employing 4200 world-wide. The Couplings Division manufacturing facilities are located in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, USA and China with offices across Europe, North and South America and the Far East; the UK base is in Telford.
