Soluble metalworking fluid
11 October 2015
FUCHS Ecocool Global 10 soluble metalworking fluid complies with all current global environmental and health and safety requirements. The company says the novel platform chemistry has been developed to provide excellent levels of lubricity, cooling and corrosion protection whist being free of boron, traditional biocides and other SVHC registered components.

FUCHS Ecocool Global 10 meets major global and chemical inventory legislation requirements in more than 19 countries. It is fully verified and tested to fulfil local legislative and labelling requirements so that parts can be manufactured globally using the same high performance fluid.
The original design brief was to develop a semi-synthetic premium soluble metalworking fluid for use with ‘difficult to machine’ materials such as titanium, Inconel, stainless steels and sensitive aerospace aluminium alloys.
FUCHS says customers have reported a 43% reduction in tooling costs when using the latest Ecocool Global 10 technology.
