Camera webstore expands
08 October 2015
Industrial camera manufacturer, IDS Imaging Development Systems, expanded its webstore (www.ids-imaging.com). B2B customers from Germany, Austria and now also from Great Britain, Ireland, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, can register for online ordering and get information on different camera models, make comparisons, and order 24/7.

The IDS Direct online shop features about 300 industrial camera models with GigE or USB interfaces, frame grabbers and lots of accessories such as lenses, cables and hubs.
The online offering is expanded by features such as a 'lens calculator'. Customers can choose the correct lens for their IDS camera according to the sensor, working distance and focal length. In addition, the webstore provides a shopping cart as an offer in PDF format. Other useful tools such as TechTips highlight possible applications of IDS products.
Torsten Wiesinger, CEO of IDS, says: "We like to provide our customers with the best user experience in the vision market. This includes our webstore as additional information and ordering channel. It’s a major benefit for customers who like to compare our camera models with each other, but hardly find time for it. With the webstore we like to offer the opportunity to get detailed information on our products anytime and anywhere."
Delivery time is usually two to three weeks, depending on the camera model and order quantity. Payment can be made with online payments systems PayPal and giropay amongst others as well as by credit card.
