Rugged hardware provider, Renovotec is offering up to £200 legacy equipment trade-in plus a free ‘try before you buy’ one week trial with installation for the rugged, data-capture TC8000 mobile computer.

According to manufacturer, Zebra Technologies, the unit increases productivity by an average 14% based on workflow - a saving of one hour per worker per shift. Its innovative ‘hairbrush’ design is said to reduce wrist motion by 55%, decrease muscle exertion by 15%, increase typing speed by 40% and cut error rates by 60%. It is also is lighter than traditional mobile computers, reducing user fatigue.
TC8000 manufacturing applications include shop floor communications, inventory management, parts tracking, supply-line replenishment, compliance verification, receiving/put away and shipping.
