Salver service for spares

The trays, which are part of SSI Schaefer’s range of more than 2200 plastic containers, are the first of their type to be supplied by the manufacturer for use in the UK automotive market. 

Each heavy duty tray is made from injection-moulded polypropylene to a bespoke design with a reinforced base which gives it a capacity of 70kg. The two sizes supplied to Gebhardt European Conveyor Systems are designed to accommodate and convey 800 x 600mm and 1200 x 800mm BDC containers, with those carrying the larger sizes being mirror-welded to provide extra capacity. 

The trays deliver a means for seamless, efficient material flows, combining easy transportation on conveyor systems with automated rapid storage and retrieval.
