First aid qualifications

The British Safety Council has launched three new first aid qualifications.
• Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work: This qualification is designed for individuals wishing to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace and is typically delivered over a one day session.
• Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work: Developed for individuals wishing to act as a first aider in their workplace, this qualification is usually delivered over three days.
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid: Students of this course will gain the essential skills and knowledge required for providing first aid to children and infants. This qualification is typically delivered over three days.
