At this year’s Safety & Health show, Bull Products will be launching a new PIR option to its Cygnus wireless fire and first aid alarm systems.

This option extends the functionality of the system so that whenever an intruder is detected by the PIR sensors, an alert is sent to personnel off-site thus increasing the safety protection offered by Cygnus.
Among other new products on show will be a range of First Responder Stations. Three type are available: A Fire Point Centre, a Spill Control Centre and a First Aid Centre, all of which are trolley based mobile units.
Also on display will be the newly launched protective cages for the Cygnus alarm units, which have been developed to prevent vandalism, accidental damage, misuse and theft.
Bull Products says the CE marked Cygnus wireless fire and first aid alarm system has raised the bar in the industry for performance and reliability and has impressive capability linking together 480 units in 15 zones around construction sites, each zone having a capacity for 32 units. There is a choice of units with the system, all battery operated, and include fire alarm call points, smoke detectors, heat detectors, first aid call points and interface units for integration to other fire systems and turnstile gate entry systems. The system operates on a Category 1 radio frequency and open air tests have shown that the Cygnus system range can exceed 1.5km. It also has an optional control panel which provides sophisticated capability for system use. Stand N2050
