Dates announced for Maintec 2018
02 August 2017
Maintec, an event dedicated to the maintenance, plant and asset management community, moves to new dates next year. It will take place on 6th and 7th November 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham.
“The change in date is following extensive research and feedback from both exhibitors and visitors”, explains Tim Else, event director. “The 2017 edition of the event attracted an increase in 62% of engineering professionals. Moving the time of year allows the event to attract key engineering audiences, not only maintenance and reliability managers, but also those engineers whose daily roles touch on the maintenance sector.”
The increasing digitisation of manufacturing environments and Industry 4.0 were major topics of conversation at the recent Maintec exhibition with presentations from thought-leaders, engineering professionals and from companies that had already started to embrace Industry 4.0 as a means of streamlining their business processes. The 2018 edition will see the return of two theatres delivering 35+ hours of professional and technical content for free across the two days of the show.
Stand bookings for the event are already underway with SPM Instruments, Pruftechnik, RMS Reliability, UE Systems and Idhammar being some of the first companies to confirm their participation in the 2018 event.
