Te-Tech Process Solutions has announced a strategic partnership with Spanish IT developer Createch360 to provide intelligent control solutions to key clients within the UK water industry. CREA is an operational intelligence platform that allows management and optimisation of integral wastewater treatment processes using real-time data monitoring of key process parameters. CREA provides intelligent decision support, multiple control strategies and automatic reporting on key data analytics and achieves quality consent limits with reduced operational costs and enhanced reliability, the company claims.
The software incorporates classical mathematical models, fuzzy logic, pattern recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to analyse real-time data and provide control strategies and decision support dashboards. Key wastewater treatment applications such as aerobic and anaerobic processes, nutrient removal, Anammox, sludge digestion and dewatering can all be optimised from the platform.
Createch360’s team has been delivering intelligent process control solutions to the urban and industrial wastewater treatment sectors, with over 100 installations worldwide. Te-Tech are delighted with the partnership and to be able combine Createch360’s state-of-the-art software and in-house system integration expertise with their own advanced technologies and products for the wastewater sector. Business development director, Mike Froom, said: “The platform provides an insight into how the future of the wastewater sector will look, with the use of advanced intelligent control systems. These systems will make a huge difference in process performance and carbon reduction, and help us face up to the challenges of emerging contaminants in the future in our continued commitment to meet tightening nutrient removal consents.”
