Intelligent systems for process optimisation
13 June 2018
WERMA is a leading European manufacturer of industrial beacons and sounders and intelligent systems for improving manufacturing and logistics processes. A selection of its products were on show at this year's IntraLogisteX and MACH exhibitions.

Visitors to the shows were able to view a new Kanban stock monitoring and replenishment system – StockSAVER. This uses intelligent monitoring points to monitor and manage line side stock levels and automatically generates replenishment calls wirelessly.
A second system, SmartMONITOR uses conventional andon lights, but with the addition of a wireless transmitter and receiver kit to monitor up and down time of machines and equipment and to collect other relevant data on machine performance.
Also on show was AndonSPEED, an andon light-based wireless call-for-action system, which is proving popular in many online retail warehousing operations, as well as in industrial operations. The system will identify bottlenecks in the warehouse system and speed up response to disruptions to production.
In addition, WERMA's latest beacon and sounder devices were available to view.
- New LED multicolour beacon – 7 colours in just one light
- Beacons and sounders: Moving forward
- Andon Light Wireless Monitoring
- Cut downtime & wastage
- Terminal Element with M12 Connector for Kombisign signal tower range – an extension to the range
- WERMA is thinking out of the box – new corner bracket offers enhanced visibility
- Andon light launch
- Comprehensive kit
- Ethernet receiver unit for wireless monitoring kit
- Process optimisation systems
