Automation for the cutting world
23 September 2019
Blackman & White, a leading manufacturer of laser, router and knife cutting systems, is heading to this year's Advanced Engineering Show with a new innovation.

The company, which employs 28 people at its state-of-the-art facility in Essex, has joined forces with HD Composite to integrate a CNC composite fabric cutting system into an automated production line to supply parts to the demanding automotive industry.
It will be showcasing demonstration videos of this new technology at the Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC, Birmingham (30th and 31st October, stand K38), which is the first time its machines have achieved full-blown automation and intuitive connectivity between different pieces on an assembly line.
This automated solution will help the customer achieve a sub 5-minute cut to finished product cycle time with ±1mm accuracy through the robotic placement of the templates into the mould.
