EngineeringUK names new director of business development and partnerships
25 January 2023
Rebecca Rawle is set to join EngineeringUK next month from ActionAid UK, where she is currently deputy director of fundraising and part of the UK Leadership team.

With a background working in the not-for-profit sector, in her role at ActionAid UK Rebecca has developed partnerships nationally and internationally, with a focus on women’s rights, economic empowerment and climate.
"I am really excited to join EngineeringUK at an important time for the organisation. Education, equity, diversity and inclusion and the sustainability agenda are issues which are very close to my heart, and as a passionate proponent for the positive impact of partnerships, I can't wait to start working with those in industry to bring about the shift-change needed for engineering and technology, and society at large, to thrive," said Rawle, whose previous roles include corporate partnership development and management at Breast Cancer Now, Marie Curie UK and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"I'm delighted to welcome Becky to the team. Her experience in developing lasting partnerships will be key to the success of our new five year strategy and she joins EngineeringUK at a very exciting time. I'm very much looking forward to working together to bring that strategy to life," stated Hilary Leevers, CEO of EngineeringUK.
Rawle joins EngineeringUK on 28 February.
