Checks for oil

Even 'oil-free' components and compressors are no guarantor for 'oil-free' compressed air due to impurities in the ambient air/intake air

Even 'oil-free' components and compressors are no guarantor for 'oil-free' compressed air due to impurities in the ambient air/intake air. In most cases, says Beko Technologies, a certain residual oil content cannot be entirely avoided. Precise monitoring of oil vapour content is important - particularly in critical production processes. Analysis and control of compressed-air quality is a crucial factor in avoiding lost production and product recall.
Beko Technologies has introduced a residual oil vapour monitoring unit for use within the scope of the Metpoint measurement technology programme - Metpoint OCV. It analyses down to 0.001mg/m3, or better than class 1 ISO, is networkcompatible with touch screen display and 24/7 process reliability through online measurement. Vapour content can be assessed every few seconds.
