Developing custom spraying solutions for industrial applications is a specialist area for BETE, with an emphasis which is often focused on 'problem solving' in challenging situations.

An example in a chemical processing application involved oil quenching in the production of ethylene, the base 'ingredient' for many other products. Ethylene feedstock is usually ethane, propane, butane, or other feedstocks. This is mixed with steam and heated to 1500°F to cause the reaction that converts it to ethylene in the pyrolysis furnace.

It is downstream from the furnace where BETE's nozzle expertise is required, as part of the crucial cooling process.

Oil is injected into the process stream to reduce the temperature. A good spraying pattern is important to ensure effective cooling.

BETE's MaxiPass nozzles are designed for hydrocarbon feed applications.Nozzles offer a uniform distribution, good drop size and come in a range of materials.
