Seal-less design enables Wanner's
Hydra-Cell pumps to handle most
liquids over pressures ranging from
very low to 70 bar and above. Some
models are rated to 170 bar.
The pumped medium is isolated from the drive mechanism and 100% contained within the wetted end of the pump. There are no seals to wear and heat is not a factor unless the liquid is exceptionally hot. For some installations Wanner recommends an oil cooler to hold the viscosity of lubricant in the drive end of the pump within prescribed limits.
Oil coolers for use with Hydra- Cell pumps are offered by the company, enabling pumps to handle liquids at temperatures to 120°C.
