Silicone-free welding protection

Ceramishield is a ceramic protective coating for welding processes from Henkel. This dry film effectively protects welding equipment against metal spatter for durations of up to eight hours without the need to reapply.

This means cleaning of equipment is no longer necessary and, because downtime is eliminated, costs are reduced and productivity enhanced.

As the name suggests, Ceramishield is a ceramic, siliconefree protective coating that dries within seconds. It is easy to apply and protects contact tips, welding nozzles and jigs. It can be used for both manual and robotic MIG/MAG welding, jigs, fixtures and fittings and laser and plasma cutting.

"Use of this spray-on product means that productivity can be increased by up to 10%," says Colin Chapman, marketing manager.

"In addition, running costs for consumables can be reduced by up to 70% and costs for cleaning equipment are eliminated."
