Platforms safe

First Great Western has installed A-Safe safety barriers at its 17,000m2 train maintenance depot in Laira, Devon. The company needed highly visible barriers that protected staff from falling from the 3m high platforms in the depot.

Neil Reed, First Great Western depot manager comments: "The team that came to fit the barriers was excellent. They worked really well with my staff and did all they could to keep business running as usual - which is important when you work` in the transport industry."
