ATEX LED headtorch

Wolf Safety has launched a new headtorch. The Wolf ATEX LED headtorch is an ultra-small primary cell powered head lamp with a high power LED light source, CE marked to the 94/9/EC (ATEX Equipment) Directive for safe use in Zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas.

The headtorch has a powerful 'fitted for life' LED light source with an output of up to 50 lumens, giving 4h duration at full brightness and up to 25h total light duration from one set of three AAA alkaline primary cells.

Designed for easy, single-handed switching, it is robust, water and dust tight to IP66, and made from a durable, chemical resistant and electrostatic non-hazardous thermoplastic material. A tilt adjustment mechanism allows the user to angle the light and bespoke optics deliver a wide angle beam, suitable for close inspection tasks.

A fabric headband allows the headtorch to be comfortably worn for extended periods, and a set of helmet clips means it can be securely attached to a hardhat or safety helmet.
