HBM has added new functions to its catmanAP software to make it easier to take measurements and analyse data. The 3.1 version includes display filters to help engineers keep track when using large numbers of measurement channels, while a new 'cycle counter' mathematics function simplifies counting the periods in a periodic signal without connecting and parameterising an additional hardware channel.

The software supports SoMat eDAQ mobile data acquisition measurement equipment for demanding environmental conditions.

Preparation of standalone measurements is easy and measured values are recorded and stored without the need for a connected PC.
