Exide Technologies (CMP Batteries) will be demonstrating the wide range of its product portfolio, highlighting that as a manufacturer of both batteries and chargers, its products are matched correctly to extend life expectancy and achieve maximum efficiency.
Exide is keen to show how its products can save money as well as help reduce CO2 output. Using high frequency chargers, for example, can reduce power consumption by 11%, which equates to a whole life saving of around 10% over a 5 year period, as well as offering other advantages such as reduced charging times and extended life.
On display will be state of the art lithium ion batteries from Exide's new division, ReStore Energy Systems, which has been launched to concentrate on renewable energy as well as the lithium ion product.
Visitors can also learn about the new Powergap rental scheme which caters for seasonal fluctuations in battery fleet needs. Stand 19L120
