Dexion launches new WMS at IMHX

Already known for pallet racking and storage, Dexion has added a Warehouse Intelligence System called C-WIS to its portfolio.

Already known for pallet racking and storage, Dexion has added a Warehouse Intelligence System called C-WIS to its portfolio.

The software was launched at the recent IMHX show at the NEC, Birmingham.

C-WIS is a control system designed to enable the user to continuously optimise their warehouse functionality.

The company says: "Any company with an existing WMS or ERP system would benefit from C-WIS as the initial creation of a warehouse operation will not always be the optimal setup.

Operating as a cockpit, which collects and processes information from a users system, C-WIS recreates a 3D simulation of the entire material and work flow for the warehouse based on real data.

"This then allows the Company to optimise stock locations, investigate staffing and service levels, working methods, forklift truck type and usage and picking routines to name a few.

"One of the many benefits of
C-WIS is that the impact of potential changes can be simulated prior to implementation in order to assess their effectiveness, making C-WIS the next generation of warehouse optimisation."

Dexion showcased the new product alongside its pallet racking and shelving systems at IMHX.

Dexion is a member of Constructor Group AS who are a leading pan-European manufacturer and provider of industrial and commercial storage solutions.

C-WIS is developed and created by Constructor Logistics, also a part of the Constructor Group AS.
