Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has added
an all-new, high-spec tow truck to its
comprehensive warehouse range. The
TBR30N shares many features with
its stablemate, the OPB20NE low
level order picker - winner of this
year's Fork Lift Truck Association
(FLTA) Award for Ergonomics.
Designed for indoor use, primarily within the automotive sector, the TBR30N blends operator comfort, precision control and strength to deliver efficient and reliable performance, says the company.
Among many innovations are its user-friendly Maxius steering wheel and controls. Designers at Mitsubishi have combined this with progressive steering, automatic speed reduction when corning and drive wheel centring to deliver total driver confidence when manoeuvring at speeds of up to 12km per hour. A safe limit of 2.5km per hour is automatically set when the truck is switched to walk-beside mode.
The TBR30N's small turning circle, together with responsive steering and a compact chassis, means the unit is highly manoeuvrable.
