Double accreditation

Two more products in 3M's range of Scotch-Weld Cyanoacrylate Adhesives have achieved a key standard used in the defence industry.

3M Scotch-Weld Cyanoacrylate Adhesive MC40 and MC1500 have both achieved BS7969:2004 for ethyl and methyl cyanoacrylate adhesives.

3M Scotch-Weld Cyanoacrylate Adhesive MC40 is a medium viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate based adhesive, specially formulated for bonding metals as well as plastics, rubbers, and other common substrates. It is suitable for use on assemblies with close-fitting parts and smooth, even surfaces. 3M Scotch-Weld Cyanoacrylate Adhesive MC1500 is for similar applications but is a high viscosity product with good gap filling capability.

These accreditations follow similar success for 3M Scotch-Weld Instant Adhesive EC100, a general purpose, medium-setting, low viscosity instant adhesive.
