Crowcon is showing its new portable Gas-Pro confined space entry (CSE) gas detector at the Health and Safety Expo.

Designed for CSE work, the Gas-Pro has application-driven features that include a top-mount display, internal pump, detection of up to five gases simultaneously, and +ve Safety, a tricolour status indicator that is said to fit differing regulations.

Crowcon will also be showing a number of other new gas detection products, including the IRmax infrared (IR) hydrocarbon fixed gas detector and the LaserMethane mini Gen2 (LMm) portable methane detector.

The IRmax is an IR gas detector which is said to deliver rapid, fail-safe detection of hydrocarbon gases with low power consumption.

The ATEX approved, second generation LMm is designed to detect methane at distance of up to 100m in seconds.
