Svantek UK is launching its new SV106 Human Vibration Meter and Analyser.

The instrument is capable of measuring both handarm (HAV) and whole body vibration (WBV), and can also measure vibration simultaneously on both hands, using two tri-axial accelerometers.Monitoring and control of vibration in the workplace is essential to avoid harm to employees and to avoid possible prosecution.

The SV106 features six channels for vibration and two channels for static force measurement, it can also be used to measure whole-body vibration when used with a seat accelerometer.

The instrument provides both octave and third octave real time band analysis and complies with standards ISO 8041:2005 and ISO 2631-1,2&5 (including VDV and MTVV) for human vibration and ISO 5349 for hand-arm vibration.

Data can be downloaded to any PC using a USB interface and Svantek's SvanPC+ software.
