Low range pressure transducer launched
25 January 2013
Compact low range pressure transducer from Gems Sensors is priced for OEM applications.
Gems Sensors and Controls, a global leader in liquid level, pressure and flow sensors, and miniature solenoid valves and fluidic systems, has launched a new low range pressure transducer.
The compact low range pressure transducer from Gems Sensors is priced for OEM applications.
Called the 3300 Series, the new transducer complements the company's existing 3100 and 3200 Series devices and is available with a wide range outputs, electrical connections and pressure ports, making it a flexible and cost effective options for OEM applications, especially in the industrial, transport and medical sectors.
Available in pressure ranges from 1 to 16 bar, or 15 to 200 psi, and capable of operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, the new 3300 Series features proven chemical vapour deposition sensor technology.
This is said to give excellent levels of hysteresis and accuracy, with long term stability and reliability, with an operating life of 100 million cycles.
“Key benefits of the 3300 series transducer for our OEM customers are its low pressure capabilities, low cost and the use of all stainless steel wetted parts, creating a compact unit that is compatible with harsh chemicals and environmentsâ€, says Mike Powers, pressure product marketing director for Gems Sensors & Controls. “The use of proven chemical vapour deposition technology gives the 3300 series high levels of performance and stability.â€
