Providing high performance and low operating cost compressors
25 January 2013
CompAir, a leading manufacturer of compressed air and gas solutions, provides high performance and low operating cost compressors.

CompAir, a leading manufacturer of compressed air and gas solutions, provides high performance and low operating cost compressors. In addition to its proven product offering, CompAir also provides a wide range of support services, ranging from emergency repairs, to planned and predictive maintenance, all backed by genuine spare parts supply.
Through its dedicated aftermarket division, the company offers national service capabilities throughout UK and Ireland; offering an all-makes, all-models solution from 4 bar, through to 414 bar on all types of compressors and downstream equipment.
To maintain compressor efficiencies, CompAir offers a leak detection test that enables plant managers to see an overview of where their compressed air system could be wasting energy.
A more general air audit can be provided by CompAir's team, to analyse compressed air usage. Air pressure requirements, power consumption and flow rates can be anaylsed to identify ways to improve the performance of an existing installation. This can include recommendations on any upgrades to the network, such as selecting the right size and mix of fixed and regulated-speed compressors or whether switching to a new more energy-efficient machine may help to save costs.
The company also provides a range of heat recovery options, ensuring optimum plant efficiency. 95% of a compressor's energy consumption is converted into heat, CompAir offer products and services that can capture that heat and transfer it so that it can be used for heating, hot water and within the production process.
CompAir will occupy one of the four Gardner Denver stands at this year's AirTech exhibition. At the stand visitors will be able to talk to CompAir's engineers about the company's extensive maintenance options.
