Thermocouple types J, K, T and N are offered in a range of sheath diameters from 0.5mm to 6.0mm depending on the calibration. Terminations include pot seals with tails or extension leads and thermocouple connectors; extension cables include PVC, PFA, PTFE, glassfibre and glassfibre with stainless steel overbraid.

Mineral insulated thermocouples can be used at high temperatures depending on the configuration; they are rugged, stainless steel sheathedprobes with flexible sheaths allowing bending or forming. They have a long operational life if used carefully and can be used in high pressure and vibration applications.
