Toyota Material Handling has developed a new twist on a wellknown product and designed it to be as quiet as possible. The new BT Lifter Silent hand pallet truck has high quality rubber steering, Powerthane bogie wheels, frames fitted with shock absorbing material to reduce vibration noise and adjustable rubber studs. It operates at no more than 60dBA and is said to be 20% quieter than a standard hand pallet truck.

Mark Peters, hand pallet truck product manager, says: "Working closely with the Freight Transport Association, Noise Abatement Society and Transport for London we have been able to demonstrate the BT Lifter Silent and its capabilities for silent deliveries."
