During the conference members of the Toyota Training Academy, including operations director Tony Wallis presented an introduction to the Toyota Production System (TPS) before dividing the 40 attendees into two groups for a hands-on demonstration. Headline sponsor of SCALA's Fresh Connection competition, Toyota Material Handling UK and SCALA have similar aims: both are striving for shared best practice and excellence with a commitment to supporting the supply chain and logistics industry.
