Toyota Material Handlings Tonero range of diesel counterbalance forklift trucks with capacities from 1.5 to 3.5t now offers an 8% improved fuel consumption and lower CO2, providing efficient engine solutions for customers.

The improved fuel consumption and lowering of CO2 has been achieved on the Toyota designed and manufactured 1DZIII industrial diesel engine, specifically designed for forklift trucks. This 36kW diesel engine has been optimised for fuel efficiency with the integration of a new fuel injection pump regulating fuel in the combustion process. This engine also complies with the latest 97/68/EC emissions regulations.
