The 8th generation of the Mitsubishi Jet Towel is easier and quicker to use; offering energy efficiency, improved hygiene and a compact footprint. It is available in silver, white and black.

Fawn Litchfield, UK sales and marketing executive for Jet Towel, says: "Jet Towel drives moisture and any germs into a drain, so is hygienic. Additionally it is made with an anti-microbial material on all its major areas. Jet Towel takes from only 9sec to completely dry hands." The new model is more compact; 165mm (6.8inches) shorter than the previous Jet Towel, making it easier to mount on the wall. However, the drying chamber is 40% larger than on earlier models.

Noise levels are down by one decibel to 58dB, while air flow is almost 25% faster - up from 80 to 98m/s, which improves drying time.

An analysis shows that 20% less air by volume is used which, when coupled with a 40% reduction in resistance at the jets, adds up to a 15% saving in energy and reduced running costs.
