SKF's new Solar Linear Actuator is
said to increase accuracy and
efficiency in tracking the sun and to
offer reduced maintenance costs in
comparison to alternative solutions.
Designed to meet the demanding requirements of the solar power industry, it can be used with photovoltaics, concentrating photovoltaics or concentrating solar power systems.
The robust design contributes to an increased level of reliability and drive protection. Higher static to dynamic load ratios permit solar power gener - ation during high wind conditions, boosting positioning accuracy and exhibiting limited backlash for consistent tracking.
