Pumps failing through running dry
is not an uncommon problem but
one that can be eliminated, says
Wanner, using Hydra-Cell seal-less
pumps. These high pressure pumps
operate with hydraulically balanced
diaphragms and therefore have no
dynamic seals to overheat and fail
during dry running. Wanner claims
the pumps can run dry indefinitely
without problem. Hydra-Cell's sealless
design also enables them to pump
liquids that contain abrasive particles
and other non-lubricating fluids.
Operators too busy to notice that the feed tank is empty cost industry many millions of pounds each year, money that could be saved, says Wanner, by using Hydra-Cell pumps.
