Installation of two Gebhardt goods lifts at Amazons distribution centre at Rugeley, takes the total number installed by European Conveyor Systems to 300. This includes multiple installations for Debenhams, IKEA, Next, Mothercare and other retailers.

Gebhardt lifts are free-standing and self-contained, requiring no civil engineering work or welding, and are available in goods-only and personnel versions with load capacities from 500 to 2000kg in a range of sizes. Maximum operating height is 20m, and provision can be made for up to six stopping places and 12 access points. Features such as interior lights and safety light curtains can be included.
ECS has several more lift orders in the pipeline for installation in 2013, as well as major conveyor installations for handling pallets, cases and tote boxes.
