The new miniature 971 Sound Level Meter from Svantek offers advanced features such as a new user interface, which makes the configuration of measurements simple and easy; a dosimeter function; and a vast time/history logging capability.

The Class 1 meter conforms to IEC 61672-1 standard and is suitable for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement. It is said to be ideal for use by acoustics consultancies and technical engineers dealing with general noise issues.

The SVAN 971 provides broadband results with all required weighting filters, as well as 1/1 octave and 1/3 octave analysis.
