Lorien Engineering Solutions has been appointed by Adams Foods to relocate its packing lines from Wincanton in Somerset to Staffordshire. All blended cheese production lines will be transferred to the firm's head office in Leek where a purpose-built blended cheese and innovation centre is being constructed.

Lorien is responsible for building design and project management, including the construction of a new production facility.

The company's Phil Colquhoun said: "A fixed cost for this project was essential for the Board Approval and Lorien has worked hard with local suppliers of many disciplines to assemble this project within the budget assigned."
