Supplying a second-hand solution

Foremans Relocatable Building Systems, a supplier of pre-owned Portakabin buildings, is helping more businesses expand having doubled its stocks of single modular buildings.

Bendalls Engineering in Carlisle, for example, needed a self-contained office building as an alternative to constructing new accommodation.

This was to be located on a steel platform inside its factory. Foremans supplied a second hand 34ft single Portakabin building to provide a dedicated office.

Norman Addison, MD at Bendalls Engineering, said: "The difference in cost between new manufacture and a pre-owned Foremans building was considerable. However, having visited Foremans' centre and seen a lot of buildings at first hand, we felt there was very little difference in quality." "The building was just what we needed. The Foremans team was very accommodating throughout and nothing was too much trouble.

The building was ready on time - it is a good quality office and we are very happy with it."
