Cirrus Research is just "yappy" to help local charity
13 September 2013
Cirrus Research's marketing manager James Tingay was delighted to take a “paws” in his busy schedule to present just over £500 to the company’s chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

The money was raised throughout the year at a variety of staff events and fundraising auctions. The North Yorkshire-based company was keen to support a local charity, with the Hearing Dogs having a training centre based just down the road at Bielby.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity that trains dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings. This allows them greater independence, confidence and companionship throughout their lives.
Said James: "This is a superb charity that does amazing work; not just in Yorkshire but across the UK. As Cirrus Research manufactures noise measurement products, it seemed quite fitting to support the Hearing Dogs who help many people with hearing loss enjoy a better quality of life.”
