LED for warehousing
01 October 2013
HI-MAX LED luminaires from Luxonic Lighting are for mounting at heights to 18m and are developed especially for production facilities and high warehouse racking.

| The luminaires use high output Cree XP-E LEDs, and operate in the ambient thermal range of –30 to 30 °C. The HI-MAX fittings can either be suspended or surface mounted, and have the option of integral dimmable control gear which contributes to energy savings and a reduction in CO2 emissions. |

Luxonic says it increases the life expectancy and reduces the maintenance costs of the luminaires through the protection of the LED array by the optic, minimising environmental damage. A presence detector, suitable for mounting heights in excess of 15m, means the fitting can be set to switch between full output when the warehouse is occupied and a dimmed light output when unoccupied.
