The new MID-MAX LED from Luxonic is designed to provide lighting solutions for open areas of medium height in warehousing, production, retail and leisure sectors.

Suitable for installation at up to 18m high, the LED can be surface-mounted or suspended to produce an even distribution of light for open areas that experience a wide variety of activities.
The MID-MAX luminaire combines high output LEDs with optional built-in control sensors to create easily adjusted and environmentally-friendly lighting while maintaining sufficient light levels for the occupants. Wireless versions using LUXLINK RC technology are available allowing flexibility with the design of the lighting scheme layout.
Luxonic says many large industrial properties still use inefficient discharge fittings that entail unnecessary energy usage and substantial running costs, which can be dramatically reduced with LED lighting schemes. New developments in glare control and microstructure film technology to enhance light distribution together with ultra high reflectance materials allows the LEDs to achieve optimum light levels using as little energy as possible.
The MID-MAX luminaire has high output LEDs providing up to 120 luminaire lumens per circuit Watt, exceeding the requirement of Building Regulations, and is suitable for use in ambient (5°C and above) and chilled (1 to 5°C) storage environments.
Maximum energy efficiency is achieved using sensors that detect occupancy levels and therefore allow the luminaires to be turned off after a period of inactivity, or if there is sufficient daylight to light the space.
LUXLINK RC Wireless Control System is a transceiver module built into the luminaire that enables daylight linking and emergency light testing to be carried out, all of which is programmable via a hand held tablet.
