Support for record attempt
07 October 2013
AirBench has announced its sponsorship of Bloodhound SSC, the car that will attempt to break the 1000mph barrier and smash the current land speed record.

The company became involved in the project due to the extensive use of carbon fibre in the construction of the car, leading to an ongoing requirement for effective dust extraction.
Bloodhound SSC will be using AirBench FN189784H, a heavy duty downdraught bench designed for capture of carbon fibre dusts. AirBench says it currently supplies downdraught benches to every UK-based F1 team, along with a huge range of other race teams and automotive suppliers.
Both AirBench and Bloodhound SSC will be exhibiting at the Composites Exhibition in November at the NEC.
