Pulsar Instruments is urging safety professionals to take action on excessive noise and its potentially devastating effects on hearing, and has introduced a new series of 6 decibel meters – the Pulsar Nova.
Features include sturdy die cast aluminium outer case, ergonomic shape, use of digital technology, LEMO microphone preamp connector, high resolution OLED (organic light emitting diodes) display, ambient light sensor and illuminated silicon elastomer keypad, and battery life of 30h. The Pulsar Nova is said to be durable, cost effective and easy to use.
