At the annual Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Occupational Health and Safety Awards, Konecranes has been either a Gold or Silver Medal winner over the last three years.
The UK operation’s glowing health and safety record has not just been recognised by external bodies, the same is equally applicable within its own ranks. Konecranes UK is the custodian of the Global Corporate Safety Award across 48 worldwide territories where Konecranes has a presence.
Dave Harvey, the company’s Service Business HSEQ manager, states: "Safety must always be our number one priority and keeping that at the forefront of everyone’s mind is vital. Our ongoing approach will be to deliver improved performance by fostering a safety culture right across the business.”
