Golden jubilee
06 June 2013
2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Jungheinrich’s entry into the UK market.
Originally located in Manchester, today Jungheinrich’s UK headquarters are in Milton Keynes. In addition, the company operates six strategically sited Customer Service Centres: Scotland (Cumbernauld), the North West (Warrington), the North East (Sheffield), The Midlands (Birmingham), the South West (Bristol) and in the South East (Milton Keynes).
Hans-Herbert Schultz, MD of Jungheinrich UK, comments: "A 50th anniversary proves any company’s longevity, staying power and success. As a group, Jungheinrich is continuously innovating to ensure that our products, solutions and after-sales service enable our customers to achieve maximum supply chain efficiency and profitability – regardless of their size and the industry sectors in which they operate.
"We are very proud to have reached such a significant milestone in the UK and are looking forward to our next half century working closely with our customers.”
