Breathing safely
09 January 2014
Innovations from Scott Safety include the ProPak Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) range that promises comfort and performance for those in the emergency firefighting, marine and industrial sectors.

The company has developed the 379bar high pressure cylinder. At 25% higher pressures than the current 300bar cylinder, it offers increased duration with minimal increases in size and weight.
Scott Safety will also display its Modular Powered Air Purifying Respirator and Modulair Max high capacity airline trolley system. The Modular PAPR lets users select from interchangeable blowers, headtops and hoses to ensure they have the most appropriate respiratory protection solution for their needs.
Also on show will be the Protégé ZM Single Gas Monitor, First Base 3 flame retardant bump cap, a revitalised goggle range and the latest in head and hearing protection.
