Respiratory protection and other PPE
07 May 2014
The Proflow 3 EX is the latest addition to the Scott Safety Air Purifying portfolio and will be on show at this year's Safety and Health Expo.

The continuous powered air unit provides AX gas respiratory protection and uses an optimised flow rate and highly functional filter configuration to enable the efficient capture of AX gases. The use of the three filters is said to equate to three times the average flow of a single APR canister used in an equivalent negative pressure situation, hence it lowers the respiratory breathing burden and provides increased comfort.
Scott Safety will launch a range of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) to provide comfort, reliability and performance for those working in the emergency firefighting, marine and industrial sectors.
The company will also be showing the recently developed 379bar high pressure cylinder. At 25% higher pressures than the current 300bar SCBA, it offers a reduced profile or increased duration with options of up to 75min.
Also on the stand will be the new Meridian Fixed Gas Detector, the compact FH4 flip-up welding headtop, new helmet ratchet headgear and a new and revitalised goggle range. Stand Q2250
