iPad vibration analyser
22 January 2014
The iPad vibration analyser, available for iPadAir or iPad Mini is a powerful tool for predictive maintenance, condition-based maintenance and one-off analysis of critical machinery such as turbines, pumps, fans, electric motors and machine tools.

The tool, now with laser alignment, is suitable both for the experienced analyst requiring support instrumentation, or new users who previously couldn’t justify capital expense. It can be adapted to individual needs by add-on Apps downloaded from the App store.
Developed by GTi Spindles (US) and distributed in the UK and Europe by Vibration Free, the iPad bullet proof hardware, coupled with software products from Motionics, gives the user expert capability and, says Vibration free, this is at a fraction of mainstream instrumentation costs. Users can operate in a paperless reporting format using the iCloud and Dropbox facility from Apple.
